Job Description:
In order to fill the position of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Business Process Owner (BPO) for our Indorama Oxides and Derivatives Division, which is based at our corporate office in The Woodlands, Texas, we are now seeking a motivated individual. The primary subject matter expert for SAP Plant Maintenance and Project Systems will be the Plant Maintenance BPO. This position will directly assist tasks including identifying improvements, the need for digitization to enhance the process, and ongoing support following implementation of SAP PM/PS to plant sites.
What will be Expected from you?
- Support the Divisional BPO Manager by participating in a regional or international project team.
- To transfer master data from old systems to SAP, manage, export, and convert it.
- Coordination, planning, testing, documentation, training, and support of the application to the plant teams are all their responsibility.
- Assure prompt investigation and problem-solving for production support.
- Conduct training sessions with end users on SAP Plant Maintenance capability, applications, and integration points relevant to Materials Management and Warehouse Management.
- Carries out user acceptance testing and records findings.
- Find and take advantage of opportunities for improvement. Additionally, the division's "Maturity" level needs to be raised.
- Quality training materials for business users are documented.
- Ensures that solutions provided will satisfy the needs of the customer by closely coordinating with the other SAP BPOs & Super Users.
- Together with IT, users, and SAP, manage tickets to ensure consistency and prioritisation.
- Creates long-lasting connections with business partners.
- Frequent travel between the locations is necessary, along with sporadic overnight stays. (When travel is once again safe)
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
- Preferable in computer science or engineering, or an equivalent degree, with at least five years of relevant experience.
- Experienced project manager with a track record of strategic leadership.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to train end users and document new processes.
- It is preferable if you have prior SAP experience working in a manufacturing environment. Experience with SAP PM (SAP Plant Maintenance Jobs) design, configuration, and implementation may be substituted for manufacturing experience.
- SAP PM equipment master, equipment hierarchy, functional locations, maintenance plans, maintenance orders, PM alerts, and related reporting call for extensive experience (5+ years).
- Thorough knowledge of SAP Materials Management-related capabilities, including MRP, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts/Issues, and Inventory, as well as the ability to train and troubleshoot it.
- Thorough knowledge of SAP Warehouse Management-related features, including bin-managed inventory, storage kinds, and cycle counting, as well as the capacity to train and debug it.
- The capacity to determine how additional requirements would affect an already-existing application.
- Experience configuring plant maintenance is preferred.
- Experience with S/4 Hana & Fiori is preferred.
- Experience with Prometheus and Primavera is desired.
- Preferable is knowledge with database and reporting applications like Business Objects, Oracle Business Intelligence, etc.
- Excel proficiency at a high level, including the ability to use pivot tables and v-lookups.
- Excellent precision and attention to detail; strong ability to critically evaluate oneself.
