Senior Analyst TSA
Job Description:
In order to complete the settlement activities for the NA Crude line of business, the successful candidate will be responsible of daily processing of commodity invoices. The person is expected to work cooperatively with the Commercial Operations team to ensure that all settlement activities are finished completely and on time. Additionally, he or she must support the team's month and quarter closure reporting efforts. The position presents a demanding opportunity in a quick-changing, dynamic, and international trading environment.
Accountabilities:
- Ensure that all invoices are processed accurately (as established by the controls framework) and on time (as determined by the contractual requirements).
- Make sure vendor disputes are settled quickly—in no more than two working days.
- Make sure the process KPIs are met, and give proper justification if they are not.
- Make sure that all trackers and reports are kept at 100%. (Timeliness & Accuracy).
- The timely escalation of open issues.
- Daily review and update of the Purchase TAT report with sufficient justifications.
- Observe the iPad toolset.
- Without deviating, adhere to the agreed-upon Ways of Working and the written work instructions.
- Observe the process's defined escalation matrix.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for effective cross-cultural communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A demonstrated capacity for constructive challenge while maintaining customer focus and displaying a commercial attitude.
- In order to obtain subject matter expertise, one needs sound accounting knowledge to comprehend the flow of entries in the E2E Accounts Payable and Receivables process.
- Professional or undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related business field.
- Strong accounts payable and receivable domain experience with the necessary years of experience in accordance with the job groups.
- The capacity to work quickly and effectively while managing complexity and conflicting agendas.
- Demonstrated aptitude at working independently and with little supervision.
- Good Microsoft Access and Excel skills. Good Knowledge of SAP is highly preferred.
- Good awareness of underlying business, financial and fiscal issues with respect to energy/commodity trading and shipping.
