Job Description

As a member of our data science team, the data science intern will have a fantastic opportunity to improve and develop the advanced analytics underlying price suggestions in a business-to-business setting.

The mission of Vistex's data science team is to proactively and continually increase the intelligence of the go-to-market capability that Vistex provides to its clients. The data science team makes use of its extensive knowledge in data-driven science and business-to-business commerce to accomplish this. The vast fields of mathematics, statistics, econometrics, operations research, and computer science are all included in this data-driven science, which is used in areas like machine learning, cluster analysis, data mining, and mathematical programming.

supporting continuing analytical work through data analysis, investigating and evaluating novel methods for pricing insights and price suggestions, and simulating pricing concepts to evaluate potential value and examine in-market behavior.

A summary paper and a final presentation will be produced as a result of the internship.

Responsibilities

Work on the following kinds of activities under the direction of a seasoned data scientist:

• Carry out analytical tasks including segmentation, forecasting, simulation, and programming in mathematics,
