Company Code

In accounting, company code is an organizational unit. It is used to structure the business organization from the viewpoint of financial accounting.

The smallest organizational unit of external accounting for which a complete self-contained set of accounts can be generated. This includes the posting of all transactions that must be posted and the creation of all items for legal single financial statements such as balance sheet and the profit and loss statement.

Follow Below Steps to Create Company Code in Sap

Menu Path 

SPRO-IMG-Enterprise Structure-Definition Financial Accounting-Edit, Copy, Delete, Check Company Code

Step 1 

Click on -Edit, Copy, Delete, Check Company Code.

Step 2 

Click on New Entries

Step 3

Enter Following Details

• Company Code
• Company Name
• City
• Country
• Currency
• Language

Example for above following details

• Company Code: Nxt
• Company Name: NxT Notify
• City: Hyderabad
• Country: India
• Currency: Inr
• Language: En
