More specifically, for HP's PLM office, we are transforming our product data management eco-system across these primary objectives:
Build out people, processes, and systems on SAP S/4HANA Master Data platform, using the latest SAP technologies with MDG-M (Master Data Governance – Materials) and more.
Reduce the turn-around-time (TAT) for SKU Creation.
Improve SKU Utilization and the configure-to-order (CTO) process.
Optimize end-to-end PLM processes with data governance.
Deliver efficient, automated processes that deliver productivity improvements across the Supply Chain.
Stabilize the IT application landscape.
Job Overview
We seek an Expert SAP technologist – specifically, an Expert in SAP UI5/FIORI – to help us continue the transformation of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Material Master Data IT systems. We are looking for enthusiastic team players with good interpersonal and communication skills who can work with minimal direct guidance from management. Team members will deliver PLM Transformation projects, Global Regulatory Compliance (GRC/RCRB) projects, business productivity capabilities and small investment initiatives.
Skills Requirements
FIORI – UI Technical Skills required (Mandatory skills) … Subject Matter Expert in developing applications using SAP UI5
Experience working with the languages (e.g., SAPUI5, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, jQuery).
Experience with SAP Web IDE
Strong experience in developing for user, functional and system requirements Experience in FIORI Design patterns, expertise in UI Theme designer Strong understanding of the UI principles Capturing and tracking functional requirements Experience in Fiori Launchpad configuration FIORI – GATEWAY Services
Strong understanding of system architectural principals and standards (SCP Web IDE, ODATA Service, S/4 HANA, Responsive design) Ability to perform hands on Development and configuration of UI5 applications (not Fiori Tile based) Lead and deliver client requirements Experience using Web IDE to build SAPUI5 applications Deliver demonstrations, Business Process Workshops, and Kickoffs to support customer needs.
Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA master data Inventory, Order management process Excellent understanding of system architectural principals and standards, UI5, JavaScript, CSS, responsive UI/UX design, Troubleshoot ODATA service issues Knowledge of SAPUI5 library and experience in building applications using SAPUI5.
Demonstrated experience in building own OData services using NetWeaver Gateway and ABAP Collaboratively work with ABAP Team / have understanding of ODATA development and the best practices on integration Application Life Cycle Management Process Ability to thoroughly document configuration Excellent understanding of Application Life Cycle Management process in global organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop program based on the functional requirements.
Work closely with SAP functional consultant to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP functionality.
Prepares technical designs document and unit testing.
Proposes, robust solution to meet the functional needs.
Builds professional relationships with team members and clients, to ensure delivery of proposed solutions.

Designs solutions for others to code. Participates in cross-functional teams. Leads design activities May provide mentoring and guidance to other developers. Designs, prepares and executes Unit tests. Represents team to client/customers.
Demonstrates technical leadership and exerts influence outside of immediate team. Develops innovative team solutions to complex problems. Contributes to strategic direction for teams.
Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to provide maintenance solutions across one or more technology areas (e.g., Database Administration).
Performs solution design. Applies HP and 3rd party technologies and leads design of highly complex infrastructure and software solutions.
Independently implements end- user or enterprise infrastructure or services of significant complexity.
Integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for HP and customers. Mentors and consults with team members and other organizations, customer and vendors on complex issues.
Education and Experience
Typically, a technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 7 years of related experience or a master's degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills
5 or more years of experience writing code (such as, and not limited to, Java, C, C++, C#, VB .NET; databases like SQL Server/ Oracle; and Testing tools Experience of multiple full release cycles.
Advanced understanding of modern software development methodologies.
Advanced understanding of modern software development tools and SCM.
Advanced understanding of Software Test methodologies, and an expert in testing tools. Expert in Database Administration.
General Project Management. Customer/ Vendor Management. Business Analysis.
Advanced Web technologies. Good verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team. Demonstrated technical leadership skills.
