TSSPDCL AE - Electrical Notification 2023

On February 2nd, 2023, the Southern power distribution company of Telangana limited (TSSPDCL) made the Notification 2023 for the AE - Electrical Examination available online. Candidates must submit their AE - Electrical Application Form online at https://tssouthernpower.cgg.gov.in/ before March 15, 2023, up to 11:59pm. On February 23 to March 15, 2023, applicants may submit an application for the TSSPDCL AE-Electrical 2023 Exam.

TSSPDCL AE-Electrical 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Must be an electrical engineer or electrical and electronics engineer with a bachelor's degree from an Indian university that is recognized incorporated by or pursuant to a Central Act, Provincial Act, State Act, or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or AICTE or any other qualification recognized equal to it (or) passing the Sections "A" and "B" of the A.M.I.E. test administered by the Institute of Engineers in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

TSSPDCL AE-Electrical 2023 Age Limit

Minimum 18 years and maximum 44 years. The age is reckoned as on 01.01.2023.

According to G.O.Ms. No. 42, General Administration (Services-A) Department, dated 19 March 2022, and adopted by TSSPDCL in S.P.O.O.JS (IR&M) Ms. No. 649, dated 22 April 2022, the upper age limit is increased by up to 10 years, from 34 to 44 years.

The upper age limit of 44 years may be relaxed by up to 5 years for applicants who are SC, ST, BC, or EWS, and by up to 10 years for those who are physically handicapped.

TSSPDCL Examination 2023 Fee

Each applicant must pay Rs.200/- (RUPEES TWO HUNDREDONLY) towards Online Application Processing Fee. This apart, the applicants have to pay Rs.120/- (RUPEES ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY ONLY) towards Examination Fee. However, the Applicants belonging to SC/ST/BC Communities, PH and applicants belonging to EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) are exempted from payment of examination fee. Mere exemption from payment of examination fees does not entitle to be considered as belonging to SC/ST/BC, PH, EWS category.

Note: Applicants belonging to other States are not exempted from payment of Examination Fee. 

The fee once remitted shall not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances. Failure to pay the examination fee, application fee wherever applicable will entail the total rejection of application.

TSSPDCL Exam Centers

The written examination for recruitment of Assistant Engineers (Elecl.) will be held at different centers located in the GHMC/HMDA area.

TSSPDCL AE-Electrical 2023 Selection Process

Just the written examination will be used to select candidates for appointments.

In the event of a tie in the written exam scores, the candidate with the older age will be given a higher ranking. In the event of a tie, the rank will be determined based on the marks received in Part-A.

Only those candidates who perform well in the written test and receive high community rankings will be contacted for the 1:1 ratio original certificate verification.

The minimum qualifying marks in the written examination for the above selection process shall be as follows: 

OC & EWS - 40%

BC - 35%

SC/ST - 30%

PH - 30%
